Lucas Arts: The Dig ( Very rare )

The story for ithis game was first intended to lbel a movie (it's written by Steven Spielberg by the way) but the technology of the time wasn't advanced enough to make his vision come true.

So they made an adventure game instead, and for that they should be thanked. The story starts with a space mission to save the earth. An asteroid is on a collision course with the earth and it has to be blown off up. When the team does this they find strange things inside the asteroid and after fiddeling around with some stuff it turns into a transport to another world. On this world they have to try to survive and find out what happened to the alien race that lived there before.
